Zun\u00e4chst machten wir uns zur Mutter Heimat auf, fuhren dann ans Dnjepr-Ufer zum Gr\u00fcnderdenkmal und schlossen den Rundgang am Goldenen Tor ab.<\/p>\n<p>Mutter Heimat wurde 1981 eingeweiht und symbolisiert den Sieg \u00fcber Deutschland. Die Ausstellung im Inneren verdeutlicht dies noch einmal aus sowjetischer Sicht.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/80874059@N08\/7416333768\/\" title=\"Mutter Heimat\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5196\/7416333768_ec953aca9c.jpg\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" alt=\"Kiew_06_Mama_Rodina_klein\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Das Gr\u00fcnderdenkmal zeigt die drei Br\u00fcder und eine Schwester, die den Dnejpr hinuntergefahren sind, kurz angehalten und die Stadt Kiew gegr\u00fcndet haben sollen. Der eine Bruder hie\u00df Kij, von dem sich dann  Kiew ableitete.<\/p>\n<p>Das Goldene Tor wurde nicht von Bierhoff geschossen, sondern ist eines der alten Stadttore Kiews. Es bestand aus Holz und hielt Eindringlinge ab. First we went to \u0093Mama Rodina\u0094, then to the monument of the Kiev founders and at the end to the Golden Gate.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093Mama Rodina\u0094 is a monument which symbolizes the victory over Germany in the Second World War. It was founded in 1981 \u0096 40 years after Germany attacked Russia.<\/p>\n<p>The monument of the founders is near the Dnepr River and shows three brothers and a sister in a boat. Four of them founded the city of Kiev. One of the brothers was called Kij, so they called the place Kiev.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/80874059@N08\/7416333906\/\" title=\"Founder Monument\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8157\/7416333906_f59b81254c.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Kiew_09_Gr\u00fcnderdenkmal_klein\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Golden Gate is not only in Frisco. You can also find it in Kiev. It is one of the old entrances to Kiev.
